  • In psychotherapy, including a somatic approach involves integrating the body. The term "somatic" originates from the Greek word "soma," which concerns to the body. This method encompasses diverse techniques aimed at promoting healing by enhancing awareness of both the mind and body. It enables a deeper understanding of bodily experiences, and their interactions with other bodies and nervous systems. Somatic healing integrates our thoughts, sensations, emotions, behaviors, and experiences, revealing how they uniquely interact and influence our reactions towards ourselves, others, and our environment. This process reveals unique insights into our inner and outer worlds and the spaces in between.

Let's work together to explore ways to strengthen our nervous system, and integrate effectively across different facets of life.

More Details About the Retreat

We all carry scars from past experiences, whether they stem from recent events like a breakup or from challenges faced long ago, such as difficult childhood dynamics or adolescent hardships.

When we leave such matters unaddressed, they can lead to daily struggles like anxiety, isolation, or hopelessness. Sometimes, these struggles show up physically as insomnia, fatigue, or panic attacks, making it seem like our bodies are holding onto unresolved grief.

Our retreat offers a holistic approach to healing. You’ll work with our psychotherapy team and take part in activities like group therapy, individual sessions, yoga, reflections, and restorative practices. These experiences will help you address emotional pain and find relief.

Meet the Retreat Team

  • Founder & Retreat Director

    Clinical Psychologist & Somatic Practitioner

For over a decade, Hind Alrashoud has walked beside individuals, couples, and groups on their journeys of healing. She listens not only to words, but to the silent language of the body—where so much of our pain, and our potential, resides.

As a clinical psychologist and a certified yoga instructor for over seven years, Hind blends mind and movement, breath and presence. Her work is grounded in Somatic Experiencing Therapy, a powerful approach that sees the body as more than a vessel—it is a storyteller, a guide, and the first home of healing.

Hind’s approach is gentle yet deep. She helps people return to themselves—one breath at a time, one feeling at a time—inviting the mind and body to meet, to listen, and to align.

Her path began with a single, quiet question: What if the body holds the key? That question became a compass, leading her into the heart of somatic healing. What she found there changed everything: true transformation begins not in the mind alone, but in the body.

Curious, grounded, and full of heart, Hind continues her work with two guiding stars: to live in honest alignment with herself—and to leave behind a legacy that speaks of purpose and love. When her journey one day ends, she hopes to look back and say, “I lived with depth, walked with truth, and helped others return to the wisdom within.”

  • Guest Experience Lead

Norah brings a rich and diverse background to her role, having studied radiology, quality, and management. Her professional journey naturally evolved into the realms of hospitality and public relations, where she discovered her true passion—creating meaningful, heart-centered connections.

She is a dedicated yoga practitioner and a lifelong seeker, always open to new experiences and perspectives. With a deep love for dialogue and presence, Norah holds space with warmth, curiosity, and authenticity.

Her mission is simple yet profound: to welcome each guest with care, to facilitate connection, and to ensure that everyone feels truly seen. As she often says, “I’m here for you.”
